OYUKI MAGENTA

Oyuki Magenta, a Mexican artist graduated in visual arts, specialized in drawing and printing from Bell Arts School in Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico.

She studied a master degree in Ceramics at the FORMA School, in Barcelona, Spain. She took a Diploma in Ancient Technics in Painting, and a workshop in Sculpture in Epoxy and Polymeric Resins at the VERBUAC Academy, in Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico. As professional experiences, she worked as Drawing and Painting Teacher for 6 years at the VERBUAC Art Academy. She contributed as well to the training of some other visual artists. She worked as an advisor for a sales company of plastic arts materials in Morelia, Michoacán. She has participated in different artistic collective projects inside and outside the country. Some of her art works have achieved the recognition in competitions and art biennials in Michoacán, such as the Alfredo Zalce Biennial and The Winter Salon.

She currently gives drawing and painting workshops in Michoacán, Mexico, and is still working in new painting projects. Part of her pictorial collection is permanently exhibited in the ALLER Art Galleries, and 910 of them inside the Aurora Factory in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico.

She belongs to the “Date Cuenta” Art Collective Mentors.

Registration number as “Oyuki Magenta”: 1589064 by the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI by its Spanish initials).
